Pressure Washing

Every exterior surface needs to be completely washed before painting.  Most need some sort of chemical to aid the process.  Some chemicals are harsh and some are mild, depending on the need of the project.
It is a mistake to use the pressure washer directly on windows and doors.  The reason being, the seal between the window panes can be compromised by the pressure forcing the glass to bow.  Because of the time it takes for the glass to noticeably fog over, you won't be able to detect there is a problem for several months.
Decks and fences are skillfully washed to completely remove the existing decayed wood surface without  leaving permanent chop marks in the wood or getting so close that the wood is 'furred'.
We also clean concrete using an attachment for large areas called the surface cleaner.  For walls, steps and other detailed areas, an oscillating concrete cleaning tip is used.
For removing mud stains on walls or rust stains due to well watering, oxalic acid, a cleaner, is used that will not change the color of stucco or harm any plants.
